Was an absolute pleasure to stay. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean tidy and everything provided as stated. The people of Rye are so friendly and Rye Lodge was known by everyone that we spoke to asking direction or just in conversation. It seems you have an exceptional reputation in Rye, well done and thank you for a lovely weekend break.

Generally, we had a very nice stay at the Rye Lodge Hotel. Although we only live down the road in Ashford, it felt like we were far from home, it was very relaxing which was helped by a break in the weather and we saw some sun for the first time in ages. The hotel itself is what i would call 'traditional' and informal. It was like stepping back in time where customer service is paramount which was a very refreshing change. The stay was a birthday treat for my girlfriend and the Spa really did do the trick. The staff were very helpful and efficient too. The hotel is a Charming place to stay, the only negative was that i found it a little expensive for one nights stay.

All the staff that we met were so friendly and helpful that as soon as we arrived to the moment we left they made us feel very welcome, this made for a really enjoyable stay. The room was comfortable and clean and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We made use of the pool, jacuzzi and sauna on our arrival day and on the morning of departure and both times we had the facilities to ourselves. Breakfast was very tasty and the toasted hot cross bun was a lovely addition. Not a critiscism of the hotel at all, but the room next door had what sounded like a couple of exciteable dogs who seemed to need a lot of exit times to the car park, luckily we had a late departure which meant that the disturbance did not become a major issue and it would certainly not put me off from returning to enjoy your welcoming facilities again.

A perfectly positioned hotel for visiting rye. Having a car park at the rear is a massive bonus. On arrival we had a wonderful welcome and all the staff were friendly & helpful. Rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable bed. Plenty of tea coffe & chocolate provided with the kettle. A wonderful night.

Excellent value for money, clean tidy, parking , generous cooked breakfast and friendly staff. Do not be put off by 3* Gold, worth more x

Absolutely fantastic 2 nights staying here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Standard room was good, bed not too hard or soft. Sauna, jacuzzi and pool were a definite win-win, breakfast was great, location to town and restaurants was fantastic. Really cannot fault Rye Lodge Hotel, and hopefully we will return.
