Just returned home from a weekend in one of your beautiful cottages. The place was absolutely stunning, everything you need for a few nights away from home. We had the cottage on the end so had the pleasure of having French doors opened up onto the field with all the baby lambs (and One very nosy older lamb who thinks he's a dog). Fell in love with all the animals and your gorgeous working dogs who were great around the kids. Cottage was spotless, comfy beds. Nice wet room downstairs with en suite upstairs. Cottage also in perfect location if you want a day in Scarborough. We cannot wait to come back although you appear to be booked up all summer :( Thank you for a lovely weekend!

We have recently married and decided to have a family moon with the children who are both very young. We wanted to stay somewhere a bit different from a standard hotel and the Grainary did not disappoint, my oldest son loved all the animals and the friendly dog who would have happily played all day, the farmer and other staff could not do enough to make the stay comfortable and memorable. The accommodation was lovely and well cared for and the onsite tea room served lovely, homemade food which everyone enjoyed.

Words simply cannot describe how much of a lovely place The Grainary is! The accommodation is to very high standards as well as the staff who simply cannot do enough for you! We have stayed here twice now in a family room and recently in a cottage as a family get away to celebrate our daughters first birthday. The staff on the farm are very friendly and the cows are a hit with both my daughter and my partner who are obsessed with cows . The food is beautiful especially the breakfast! All staff are very friendly and it's great how you can stay intouch with them via Facebook. Shout out to mark who is a great guy! We recently rehomed Gramps at the weekend (a dog who lived on the farm) we are so grateful and honoured to have been able to rehome him and look forward to booking our next stay and we of course will be fetching Gramps with us to see you all especially Lollie
