We had a wonderful stay! From the minute we arrived we were taken care of and we just knew we were going to have a great stay! From the staff to the room to the food - everything was magnificent! We loved our dining experience. The food was delicious and the breakfasts were gorgeous! The ambience of the whole stay was fabulous and the staff couldn’t do enough for you! Lots of nice little touches too. A water bottle to refill as much as you like during your stay - a lovely hot night time soothing drink found in your room when you return after dinner Beach towels, wellies and dryrobes too! Camber beach is right across the road and the town centre of Rye is a 10 minute drive away! They really have thought of everything and we will definitely be back! Well done to all your wonderful staff!

What a magical three nights we spent at The Gallivant - the perfect space to relax, disconnect from real life, and enjoy the beautiful room, gardens and food that are in plentiful supply here. My husband and I visited in April 2025, at exactly the point we needed an escape, and it was perfect. Particular thanks to Naketa who made our stay feel so welcoming and warm, and to the staff who looked after us at Harry’s on the first night of our stay. Thank you The Gallivant - you came at just the right time for us.

We've just left a Google review, which pretty much says it all. We were blown away by The Gallivant. You have thought of everything a guest could need to make their stay comfortable and special without feeling stuffy. Mooly (I'm sure I've spelled that wrong - sorry!) was an absolute joy to interact with, as were all of the staff we encountered. Another fantastic stay at The Gallivant, staff once were super accommodating and nothing is too much trouble at this wonderful hotel. Amazing yoga both Friday evening and Saturday morning with Katie and Bernie. We stayed in a snug cabin room but it was incredibly spacious and comfortable. Thank you for another incredible visit I will be back again very soon!
