We had a fantastic weekend celebrating my birthday with the family. The rooms were lovely ( thank you for the beautiful card and madeleines too) . Staff friendly and helpful and we loved the lounge with all the games . Hope to come back soon

Simply fantastic!

Had a lovely pre Christmas stay to get us in the mood for Christmas. The Gallivant didn’t disappoint…. As always the hotel was decorated beautifully. We sat by the fire with our 2 dogs and relaxed for the afternoon. We love visiting this hotel and are always made to feel welcome. Especially, with our 2 mini schnauzers. They got lots of attention and lots of tlc. The food was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Only negative is that we didn’t book for 2 nights. The staff very professional, friendly and attentive. See you soon Melanie, Jon, Albi and Louis 🐶🧡🐶

We had a great return visit to The Gallivant. Warm and comfortable with everyone very attentive and interesting food as ever. I was especially appreciative of Elise's help on a freezing morning when I was struggling a bit with the Podpoint charger. Many thanks and good wishes to you all for Christmas and 2024

I had a delightful stay at the Gallivant including a wonderful dinner at the restaurant! Everyone was friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the room was lovely.

A great night's stay and dinner was lovely. Serving staff was all on point and very helpful. Room was good and spotless and warm on that chilly night. Breakfast was fine as well. All in all a very enjoyable quick getaway for my wife and I, and look forward to seeing you again soon.
