Wow! What an amazing experience your team gave us over the last couple of days for our spontaneous break. Everything was perfect from start to finish. You really do have a special bunch of people working at the Galivant. Naketa was delightful on the phone taking the booking. Monty and Paul gave us a warm welcome and made us feel super relaxed and looked after within minutes of arriving and away from our stressful lives. Our lunch served by Elton was delicious with two of the best bloody mary's we've ever had. Dinner was a treat served by lovely Lucy, whose enthusiasm for the food was infectious. It was also a delight to meet Lindsay and talk dogs! And finally being served breakfast this morning by Anna and her wonderful smile was the best end to our perfect mini break. My husband has asked if we can move in! Can't wait to come back xxxx

The is was our 5th time at The Gallivant over 6 years and it’s been yet another wonderful break. We have seen the service improve each time we visit. Being gluten free due to a serious illness I have seen your dietary requirements improve by offering more choice each time we visit too. It almost feels unfair to pick out individuals who have been outstanding as everyone is lovely however we would like to mention: Naketa- warm, friendly and engaging. The dog misses her already! Carey: down to earth yet professional in every way Anna: as always making breakfast a wonderful experience Carolyn: every morning a lovely smile greeting us We can’t wait to be back again soon.

The service in every area was outstanding. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff--who are obviously very well trained. The ambience was lovely and everywhere was very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We hope to return later in the year.

My wife and I stayed for the first time at The Gallivant for one night in March to celebrate her birthday. We were warmly welcomed in reception by Lucy and she happily showed us the restaurant, bar and lounge areas. Then to our room, which was the luxury garden room. Immediately the cares of life slid away, and we settled into enjoying the lovely room, beautiful surroundings and relaxed, peaceful, spa like atmosphere. English wine at five in the bar area was a lovely treat. Again, Lucy was knowledgable about the wine we were sampling, and the crisps and olives we were offered made it even more enjoyable. Dinner service was equally pleasurable. The wine list at TG is impressive, making it a challenge not to get carried away! The menu consisted of a choice selection of good quality dishes and we very much enjoyed our meal. Service was attentive but unhurried. In the morning, Anna greeted us in the restaurant with an infectious smile and joyfully made sure we were looked after. Again, the menu choice for breakfast was excellent. After breakfast we checked out of our room. The weather wasn’t great so we decided not to walk along the beach. Instead, we relaxed in the lounge, which has had huge efforts put in to make it a lovely place to just be. A very enjoyable stay. A great deal of thought and care has gone into creating this place, and we appreciated every moment. We would highly recommend it to our friends, and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Our stay at The Gallivant this weekend couldn’t have been anymore ideal. Every little detail has been finely tuned and well thought out and it’s such a beautiful and serene space to relax in. We were especially grateful as we were very kindly given an upgrade and this made our stay even more special. The food was absolutely delicious and so fresh. Every member of staff we spoke to was amazing, in particular Naketa and Elton just blew us away by how friendly and accommodating they were. There’s not many hotels that genuinely make you want to come back but the Gallivant is one and we absolutely will be. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend.
