Big thanks to the entire team at the Gallivant for making my winter mini break so lovely. I'd like to give a special shout out to jo who was such a gem! I was a little anxious as it was my first solo trip but Jo's warm welcome and little check in's on me throughout my stay put me at ease. We had a super couple of days with you, returning after nearly three years. Why did we stay away so long we asked ourselves as we arrived? A great welcome, lovely room and all the staff on top of their game. We can’t single anyone in particular; reception, bar, restaurant, room service staff were professional and friendly. It is such a relaxing place to be; keep the standards as high as they are and you will thrive. We will be back!

My partner and I had a great stay at the Gallivant celebrating his birthday. We got a room upgrade which was a lovely surprise and the room, bar and restaurant were all beautifully decorated with great ambience. The small touches including wine at five and oyster happy hour were great and all food we ate was delicious. We especially enjoyed the huge spread at breakfast! Thank you for a great stay - we’d love to return soon!
