We had a fabulous two night stay at The Gallivant. It was faultless. Cozy, welcoming, friendly and helpful staff, amazing food and comfortable rooms. We loved the relaxing atmosphere and felt 'at home' as soon as we arrived. There were several unique formats, i.e. the breakfast, wine at five, wellies, beach bags and towels being easily available. We visited the Gallivant as a treat for a special birthday and from the start to the end of our stay, we felt incredibly looked after. We were welcomed warmly with tea and cake, personally shown around the beautiful lounge area and then taken to our cosy and gorgeously decorated room. Every detail had been thought through. The cocktails were delicious, dinner was spectacular and it’s the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had! The shower was wonderful and we slept like logs. An amazing location so close to the beach too. We left feeling both utterly relaxed and very sorry to have only stayed one night. Would (and will) recommend in a heartbeat

We really enjoyed our stay. I was very impressed with the clever architectural and interior designs, just right for a seaside venue. There were a lot of thoughtful touches. Food was excellent, both for dinner and breakfast. And last but by no means least, the staff were really welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Big thanks to the entire team at the Gallivant for making my winter mini break so lovely. I'd like to give a special shout out to jo who was such a gem! I was a little anxious as it was my first solo trip but Jo's warm welcome and little check in's on me throughout my stay put me at ease. I'll certainly be coming back to stay and have already told my friends to get booking!
