I had a wonderful stay at The Gallivant and felt very well looked after. I loved the attention to detail with the English wine at 5 and the turn down tea service in particular. The food was great - I particularly enjoyed the breakfast offerings. One piece of feedback was that the portion sizes at dinner felt quite large, I couldn't finish my main course after the starter and didn't have room for dessert which I would otherwise have definitely tried!

We had a lovely relaxing time at your hotel. It was for us a unique hotel experience - it is certainly a ‘destination’ hotel - very creatively designed and themed in response to its place. The staff are plentiful and attentive in an unobtrusive way. Food is very well prepared, using excellent ingredients. I highly recommend the hotel and plan to return. Thank you.

Firstly what makes this hotel is the amazing attentive staff!! The hotel only has 20 rooms so its cosy and feels homely. The rooms aren’t huge but have everything needed for a short stay also are very clean. Location is perfect 10 min walk to camber sands beautiful beach. Food was fresh and tasty - we were in the essential package which is half board with some lovely extras. Have to say a big thank you to Crystal, a lovely welcome on arrival, Kate, Louisa, Cihat who looked after us during meals so patient! And manager Lindsay who has a big welcoming personality. My husband and I will definitely return. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

The most beautiful wedding we’ve ever been to!

A fabulous stay in the Dover room with our own little garden area.. room was beautiful & the ceiling fan a godsend with the heatwave at the time. Dinner was amazing as was breakfast… my only negative was having to leave…. The staff through out were friendly & professional.

We had the best stay - food was amazing, staff were incredibly kind, calm and helpful, and we are already planning our return. Thank you for everything! We will DEFINITELY be back. J
