Had a lovely time at The Rye Lodge hotel. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and told we could check in early. Deluxe room was very comfortable with a nice little balcony. There was a bit of painting going on when we arrived in the corridoor but I guess this is how they keep they place so well maintained and the smell did not come into the room at all. Breakfast was outstanding with diabetic marmalade (a bonus for my partner!) and the waitress was very cheerful and helpful. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is that we paid for the room with a 'buy a gift' voucher and this seemed to be a bit complicated for the staff to deal with and we were again asked to pay when we checked out. Otherwise what a gorgeous little hotel right in the middle of Rye, will definitely visit again!

Great, little boutique hotel. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Deluxe room was beautifully decorated, as was the rest of the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

What a wonderful hotel! From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Michael serves the best kit champagne!! Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful. We were even offered help to carry our luggage to the car - even though we only had backpacks!
