Had a very enjoyable yoga retreat with Christian despite storm Eunice and Franklin. Room was lovely staff all smiling and friendly. Everywhere was clean and on entering hotel it was wow. Food was interesting and very good it was local if possible but for me it was quite fussy and sometimes lacking a bit of flavour At lunchtime a bowl of soup or salad would have been nice. All in all a very good experience

We have been lucky enough to stay in many hotels around the world and your hotel is up there amongst the best. A real home from home service that made us want to stay longer. All the personal touches made our stay so comfortable. And each member of staff was so kind and helpful. Our purely personal preference would have been a larger bed, but that’s because we are ruined at home with a Super King. That said the bed was very comfortable. Thank you for all the effort you go to.

We loved your hotel, you really have created a unique experience & it’s lovely that you welcome dogs too. All your staff were efficient, kind & friendly & we loved the little touches like elevenses & wine at 5. Our only slight moan was that the evening meal was a little disappointing. We ordered greens to accompany the meal & were presented with a bowl of something green & brown. The waitress told me it was broccoli but they turned out to over fried sprouts which weren’t very pleasant. Not at all what I expected Overall a very enjoyable visit though, thank you.

We had a lovely stay at the Gallivant, everyone was very welcoming and made us feel very settled. Special mention for Anna this morning - coffee brought to the room and an excellent breakfast. Many thanks.

Really enjoyed our stay, especially as you got us out of trouble at the last minute after we had been let down elsewhere. Great service from everyone, but a special mention for Monty and Lucy. We will be back!
