Lovely hotel, wonderful staff, lovely food and very clean and covid safe. The breakfast menu was nice but a little too much like brunch rather than breakfast. Perhaps you could offer plain food with more cereal options, continental options and sausage, bacon, boiled or fried eggs which is not so rich in taste.

We had a wonderful stay thank you. I would like to highlight the fantastic service that we received from Cory and the young lady that served us on Friday evening and Saturday (I am afraid that we didn't get the opportunity to get her name but she had long, straight brown hair, was adorably chatty and more importantly was a massive dog lover so spoilt ours with lots of tickles). Everything was exceptional but they really went above and beyond with their service.

We received a warm welcome as always. Grateful for the upgrade to a garden room, which we'll probably book next time we visit in the summer. Great help from reception who organised a taxi to take us to Hythe and back. We were running late in the morning and appreciated the relaxed flexibility over the fabulous breakfast. What we really noticed was the unhurried sense of calm and friendliness from the staff on duty. We've been several times before and we'll definitely be back again.

An exceptional place. Thank you to all at The Gallivant for making us so welcome on a cold January day. The food and wines were excellent. We were so pleased to have a bath in our room - perfect after a long walk. Our waiter who I think was Louisa was very attentive. Many thanks to all. We will be back!
