We came for one night in September and were very impressed with all elements of our stay. The staff were all very accommodating and approachable. Our room was very stylish and comfortable with everything that we could have needed. We loved the eye for detail, very evident from the decor throughout the hotel. The food was extremely well judged and tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal. Having the beach just over the road and an outdoor patio garden was a real bonus. There is a lot available to try (yoga, beach picnics, sundowners, oysters, tea and cake). A real gem and we will return.

We came for one night and had a wonderful stay, our third visit this year. This time we stayed in a 'Large Hampton' room and loved it, especially the large bath! A great evening meal in the restaurant followed by a Yoga class the morning after. All the staff we encountered - reception, restaurant and housekeeping were so friendly and helpful- thank you all so very much. There really is something special about this hotel! We hope to revisit before the Year's end.

Absolutely loved our stay, staff were all so kind and welcoming. Our room was gorgeous, all the food delicious and our drinks on the dune and picnic kits were delightful. Will 100% be recommending to friends

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gallivant. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food and drinks were excellent. We especially enjoyed our gorgeous room with the attached terrace and enclosed garden. Our dog typically sleeps very lightly and wakes us up often on trips, whenever she hears other guests or unfamiliar sounds. On this trip she did not bark once in the night and slept soundly, thanks to the super quiet and calm atmosphere. Camber itself is of course beautiful and the day trip to Rye was a lovely addition to our holiday.
