Fantastic hotel, on one of the most iconic beach in the UK. Welcoming staff, a charming room and amazing food. Very clearly, happiness is a place.

A great couple of days away for our Exec Team offsite. The hospitality and attention to detail was outstanding and we all felt very looked after. We really enjoyed the wine tasting by the fire, and top marks to Hamish who really knows his stuff all things wine - related! All in all a cosy, festive and productive trip!

The Galivant really is a unique hidden gem. 2023 has been the toughest and most challenging year yet as my wife has been very poorly so we booked an escape away on Thursday 13th December to unwind and breathe in the ocean air. We could not have found a more beautiful place to recharge and reset and the staff went above and beyond to provide an exceptional service making us feel like the only guests in the world. Hamesh met us at reception and was a pleasure to deal with as so hospitable, calm and kind. What a lovely genuine chap and a credit to the Galivant. Kerry was looking after us at the bar and in the restaurant and again such a kind lovely lady who clearly had fallen in love with this special beautiful place. The cherry on the cake was meeting Nico who delivered the best 3 x courses we have ever had and really brought home that cooking is an expression of love and you can see and taste that in his dishes. Nico even took the time to meet us and share some of his experiences. You could just tell how passionate the staff are about the Galivant and all proud to work at this unique place and this shone through by the service provided. We even met the beautiful cocker spaniel pup Copper. The Galivant staff provide a first class service which is full of kindness and love. The location is also spectacular and walking along the beach seeing the sun rise after a beautiful fresh breakfast is memories me and my wife will have and treasure forever. The Galivant holds a special place in our hearts as was the perfect retreat and getaway after a long tough year and we definitely left this place feeling stronger, more positive and ready to embrace life and create many more magical memories in 2024. Thank you so much Hamesh, Kerry, Nico, Copper and all the wonderful staff at the Galivant and you will definitely see us return in 2024 with our cocker Soanirl. We loved our stay at The Gallivant so much! Everything about it was perfect. They were so welcoming and friendly. Our room was immaculate and the food and drinks 10/10. Would recommend going during the festive period as it was so cosy with the tree and fire etc and not that busy. Would 100% come again!
