We had such a special dinner on Saturday night. The staff were so friendly and attentive from the minute we walked in and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff even over heard us chatting away about mushrooms and gave us the details of the mushroom experience the staff were doing if we wanted to do it ourselves. We visited Gallivant for the third time last week in glorious sunshine. Once again we found great friendly service, delicious food and beautiful terrace & garden. We will return.

Thank you for a lovely weekend at the Gallivant. You have created a little oasis with attractive places to relax and so many lovely touches. The staff were all excellent - always friendly and quick to respond to any requests and the food was absolutely delicious. Breakfast, with the tray and then choice of hot food was also lovely. Our room was a little on the snug side for the room rate but was very attractively decorated. Fresh water on tap at the bar was really good and the sundowner on our package was great. It would be nice to have had tea / coffee in our room or a flask of hot water and some sachets available so we could make a drink without coming to ask. We would definitely recommend the Gallivant to friends and family.

We absolutely loved staying at the Gallivant. Stunning rooms and bar/restaurant area. Everyone that was on duty on August 2nd/3rd were amazing, professional and kind. We really felt at home and throughly enjoyed our anniversary ! Thank you for this special stay and we will certainly be coming back, we've already recommended you to friends & family!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Gallivant. The staff were super helpful & welcoming. The room was very comfortable with everything we needed & so nice having a terrace overlooking the delightful garden. Fantastic food, very well thought out menus, couldn’t fault it at all. It was also lucky that we happened to choose the two hottest days of the year so far for our getaway by the sea which made the stay even more special.
