Really enjoyed our visit to the Gallivant. The bedroom was lovely, with a beautiful bath and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, especially Lindsay who went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. I would highly recommend the Gallivant.
Such a lovely stay in such a gorgeous hotel! My husband and I wanted a last minute Sunday night getaway to just relax and take some time out of busy schedules, and The Gallivant was the perfect place for this. Great location, and such a lovely feel as soon as you walk into the reception area. The interior and little details were beautiful, all staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming throughout. We both had a full body massage and the treatment room for this set in the gardens, was such a gorgeous space! Our therapist Ruth was brilliant! The brand they use for the treatments was lovely, as a facialist I appreciate good brands for treatments and it did not disappoint. We spent the next morning attending the Yoga class followed by a delicious breakfast before checking out. Would highly recommend a stay at The Gallivant! Already looking forward to staying again sometime!
Another fabulous stay in my favourite ‘second home’. Thank you all for making my stay such a delight.
We had a wonderful stay, the staff were welcoming and couldn’t do enough to add extra touches (dryrobes and coffee for our swim) and a late checkout - extra thanks to Lyndsey who was wonderful. The only addition that would have been great would have been a Nespresso machine in the room.
Stayed here for my 40th with my wife. Amazing, amazing stay and we're definitely coming back. My wife and I have visited many different similar style boutique hotels over the years in the South East area and abroad. This was one of our favourite stays ever. Firstly the welcome by Lindsay was so welcoming. It's a shame we only saw her for that brief moment during our stay. The garden room was stunning and so comfortable and luxurious. The details thought the hotel are beautiful. From the lime and knife in the room, to the half mirrored light bulb in the lamp shade above the bath (lol), to the wellies and picnic blankets for the beach and the games in the snug, the fire pit in the terrace, the list goes on. This place was incredibly well designed and considered by someone who actually cares. You can feel the love and passion that has gone into this place. Loved it and have the most incredible memories. Topped off by an incredibly warm and sunny January day where we could picnic on the dunes! In terms of feedback, our only minor gripe was a tree surgeon who woke us quite early and was working outside our room. And also the noise of other room doors closing and slamming in the corridor. Thank you for such a memorable 40th Birthday present :) I don't usually leave feedback but this deserved it.
Another wonderful stay. Sublime. Special thanks to Lindsay, Naketa and Agnes who, as always, are so welcoming and make things run so smoothly. Agnes behind the scenes enhances the booking process. So nice to have a chat with her over the phone and then in person just makes it more personal. Lindsay misses nothing and is instrumental is getting the new staff up to speed in a kind, caring way. She and Naketa are the perfect Front of House team. They are a delight, making time for a chat and always have their eye out to step, in ensuring the service runs like clockwork. The three of them really are the backbone of the hotel. John behind the bar is knowledgeable and attentive, making sure your drink is exactly what you want and he was so informative when serving the meals too. Really knowing the produce and menu. Just excellent. The Gallivant is an oasis of calm. I love it and will look forward to my return in March.
