It is nice to be somewhere where hospitality is taken so seriously. Everyone we encountered during our stay was extremely friendly. From offering to pack us drinks for the beach, to providing towels to get to the beach ahead of our check in time, to the wonderful, friendly service at both dinner and breakfast. It was very refreshing, especially given the travel woes in getting there (hottest day of the year--not much to be done about that!). IF there is one thing that might be a small improvement, some sort of USB port in the bedroom for charging small items. Again this is a wishlist, not a must have. We look forward to returning, maybe in the fall where we can enjoy relaxing in front of the fire pits. Thank you for all of the obvious hard work that goes into maintaining the standard of service.

Dear Gallivant Team, Hannah and I wanted to say a massive thank you for an incredible baby moon weekend. It was the perfect way to celebrate our little boy who will be joining us soon. You have created an amazing piece of paradise. We loved the design of our bedroom and all the spaces. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the English wine list is the best we’ve seen. The blue coloured cocktails were such a lovely thoughtful touch and everyone we interacted with were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We will be raving about The Gallivant to family and friends and can’t wait to visit again - when we need a break from our son! Thanks again. Tom and Hannah

Great relaxing stay, fabulous food!

Everything was glorious at The Gallivant! The proximity to the sea, the food, the rooms, the porches outside the rooms, and the staff. Special shout out to the staff, who were all so friendly, professional, and highly responsive.

We had a great stay, team were all so welcoming. The hotel itself is beautiful and feels like home away from home. Food was exceptional. We will definitely try and stay again
