Wonderful and welcoming as always! Great staff, delicious food, excellent wine list. A real treat. Thank you.
A great place to relax and unwind. Roll up early to enjoy drinks and a spot of lunch on the sun drenched courtyard. The beach is only a short stroll across the dunes and the perfect place to watch sunset over the water as day turns to night. Soak away the day’s activities in the oversized tub in your ultra comfy room, before sitting down to a locally sourced dinner menu that tastes every bit as good as it looks. The atmosphere is very chilled, it’s adults only, but if you let them know in advance your four legged friends can come too. This was our second visit and we will definitely be back. Just over an hour and a half from SW London it’s great for a mini holiday or just to treat yourself.
My partner and I had the BEST stay here. From the minute we walked in, we were blown away by how lovely it was. So peaceful, cosy and the staff were all amazing! We extended our stay just hours after checking in. It is without a doubt the best hotel experience we have both ever had. Cannot commend the staff enough for their hospitality. Left us feeling extremely relaxed. Will definitely be staying here again and would highly recommend it to anybody!
Delightful hotel- joyous to be there, great environment and wonderful team that you have. I really cant think of anything to critique- Just a fervent request that you go on doing what you do. I'm excited to hear about your new hotel at Romney bay (we used to go there years ago) wish you every sucess with t but with the hope it does not affect the great vibe you have at Camber sands. Paul
This must have been our 6th or 7th visit and everything was superb as always. Had two of the most fantastic meals we have experienced in any restaurant. Special thanks to Lindsay for helping arrange an impromptu second night stay when we decided we didn’t want to go home! Her professionalism, warmth and humour are a credit and will keep us coming back.
We stayed for the night for Valentines, opting for the full Gallivant experience including breakfast and also had the special Valentines menu. We were welcomed very warmly by Lindsay who gave us a useful tour. The bedroom was a tad small for our tastes but beautifully fitted out and furnished. If it had not been raining we would have enjoyed our little private terrace. The provisiion ofteas and coffees in the excellent lounge areas was great and we liked that there were games and plenty of interesting reading matter. The included cake for residents was delicious and the included glass each of Flint Dry White Wine from Chapel Down was appreciated. We enjoyed our cocktails and took advantage of the Oyster Happy Hour. The range of high quality English spirits was impressive. The valentines menu was excellent with a magnificent duck main course. Some great wines too from a very good list with loads of English wines. Our breakfast was one of the best we have ever had anywhere (and we have had a lot!) and the granola superb. We bought some to take away. Sevice was excellent and charming throughout. Lindsay the customer service manager was absolutely brilliant, very charming and very funny. She is a credit to the business. Also the chap on the bar (Turkish, ddn't get his name) and breakfast service was really good. We really like the sustainable local sourcing ethos and things like the Belu water. Very much to be applauded. Well done altogether. We will return!
