Very enjoyable couple of days at the hotel. Very comfortable and relaxed surroundings, food and service were very good. Dog guests welcomed and catered for. Good location with lots of places around to visit and enjoy. We will be back !

Hi Elise, we really enjoyed our stay, the weather was a lovely bonus so that we could enjoy the beach, your beautiful coastal garden and our garden room to the max! We booked the complete package, so touches like wine at 5 and the elevenses are lovely to have (even though we didn't always partake). The food was delicious, and your team were very knowledgeable about where everything was sourced from and local producers. One guy stood out but I am not sure of his name, he was always in the restaurant, and served the wine on the terrace at 5. English wines were a real hit with us, we absolutely love them anyway, but were recommended Simpsons from Canterbury which we enjoyed very much. The vibe at the Gallivant is beautifully relaxed but elegant, the layout is gorgeous and it is easy to find somewhere to chill out quietly. The terrace for breakfast was a favourite of ours. Beds were super comfy, and we loved all the Bamford goodies. All that aside, the Team really made our stay - friendly and engaging, super helpful and delivering a really high touch service. We had such a wonderful stay! It was absolutely brilliant! Everything was gorgeous - so easy to access what we needed and everyone was so helpful and went above and beyond eg with late check out, help with beach blankets etc. Would recommend to anyone!

Hello Elise and Team Another wonderful stay at The Gallivant (now my third). As always, all the staff were wonderful. Special thanks to Georgie, Paige and Naketa and before the stay Agnes - always cheery and helpful with arrangements. Can I also add Kieran to the list - he was delight at breakfast on my previous stay (23-25 March). I didn't know his name until now. Thanks again to you all. I'll be back for sure. We had a great stay - everything about the place works, the atmos is very calming (we chilled out almost instantly), the decor is done so well, the food and drink were great too, and the staff were excellent. The longer I stayed there and took in whats been done, the more I appreciated it (done so tastefully, and I cant think I've been anywhere like it in the UK).
