Staff and ambiance just wonderful. Loved all the little touches!

Wow. The Gallivant is a special place and we loved our stay there. The staff were amazing in making sure that everything was perfect and nothing was too much trouble. A quick word for the food too which is unbelievably good. We’ve recommended a stay here to everyone we’ve spoken to since and hope to be able to revisit again. Thank you once again

Very enjoyable couple of days at the hotel. Very comfortable and relaxed surroundings, food and service were very good. Dog guests welcomed and catered for. Good location with lots of places around to visit and enjoy. We will be back !

Hi Elise, we really enjoyed our stay, the weather was a lovely bonus so that we could enjoy the beach, your beautiful coastal garden and our garden room to the max! We booked the complete package, so touches like wine at 5 and the elevenses are lovely to have (even though we didn't always partake). The food was delicious, and your team were very knowledgeable about where everything was sourced from and local producers. One guy stood out but I am not sure of his name, he was always in the restaurant, and served the wine on the terrace at 5. English wines were a real hit with us, we absolutely love them anyway, but were recommended Simpsons from Canterbury which we enjoyed very much. The vibe at the Gallivant is beautifully relaxed but elegant, the layout is gorgeous and it is easy to find somewhere to chill out quietly. The terrace for breakfast was a favourite of ours. Beds were super comfy, and we loved all the Bamford goodies. All that aside, the Team really made our stay - friendly and engaging, super helpful and delivering a really high touch service. We had such a wonderful stay! It was absolutely brilliant! Everything was gorgeous - so easy to access what we needed and everyone was so helpful and went above and beyond eg with late check out, help with beach blankets etc. Would recommend to anyone!
