Thank you very much for a comfortable stay at the Gallivant. We felt very well and carefully looked after given my partner's disability. Nothing was too much trouble and the food and rooms and overall atmosphere and feel of the place was relaxed and gently luxurious. There was a lot of attention to detail and the general areas where you could relax or work or chat were very attractive.

Return visit after a trip in January and it was just as good. Lovely room with great toiletries . Fantastic food and wine . Staff very friendly and helpful. Just love the spaces particularly the lounge area - it is so relaxing . Even had electric car charging points and we got some sunshine- everything was perfect!

We had a two night stay at the hotel over the weekend. What a relaxing time we had! So well looked after by all the staff, they are a really great team and we very much enjoyed meeting Felix, who really impressed us with his friendliness, knowledge and helpfulness with everything. Even though our stay was for only 1 night, we really feel as if we have had a proper break. The ambience of the Gallivant- from the entrance, to the bar/ sitting area to our room is so inviting and tranquil. The staff are warm and kind and have that wonderful unhurried but very attentive approach that feels personal. It was our golden retriever’s first hotel stay and we are certain that her calmness was a reflection of that special Gallivant serenity. Your front of house staff- Paige and Crystal- are a credit to you. thank you .
