We spent a lovely 2 nights at The Gallivant in January. It is a peaceful setting with very comfortable beds, lovely quality towels and shower facilities. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was exceptional. The staff are friendly and provide an excellent service all round. They have thought of everything from clothing/footwear for exploring the beach in all weather, complimentary water bottles where you can help yourself to endless water refills from the bar. Books, board games are in the chill out area and there is also a delightful outside seating area too. They even provide you with a booklet on the local area which we found incredibly useful. They really have thought of everything! We will definitely come back to The Gallivant very soon in the future as we had such a lovely time.

Fantastic few days in the capable hands of The Galivant team. New Years dinner was lovely and such a bonus to be able to bring my dog.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Gallivant. We were in need of a space to switch off and re-set and we couldn't have chosen a better place to do that. I wanted to be able to take a book and sit somewhere where I could relax and read in a lovely space. From the photos it was hard to tell if that would be possible but it turned out to be perfect. Lots of different spaces to choose from and really well designed. The added tweak to breakfast was a great idea, elevenses was fantastic after a walk along the beach and wine at 5 was brilliant. I thought it was really good that the wine came from a local vineyard that you could then go and visit, if you wanted to. Our room upgrade to a luxury garden room was amazing. Everyone who worked there was really helpful and friendly and we had the perfect time away. Thank you.

It was delightful to be back at the Gallivant - which really is our happy place! As always - everything feels effortless and delicious. Luxurious comforts which are relaxed and informal, amazing service and great food and drink. Beautifully restorative and lovely to be greeted as old friends. Naketa was amazing in making us feel so welcome and ensuring we had the best possible stay. Thank you
