We had a fantastic night with you, your hotel is gorgeous, a lovely warm, friendly, welcoming and happy place to relax. The attention to detail in all aspects of your hotel, the courteous and friendly service from all the team we had contact with was first class. We had a last min stay with our bloodhound Maggie. The staff were incredible, friendly and helpful and it is clear this is a location not just ticking the dog friendly box but actually embracing and catering for them. But please don’t think that means there is a single compromise on cleanliness or standards. Not one bit. After long stunning walk along the sands we relaxed with a coffee and freshly baked cookies and we actually managed to read a paper.. a first for us in a long time! Tucked up in one of the well appointed side lounges. We booked in for supper. My wife had the monkfish and I had the pork chop both were fantastic. Service was equally fantastic too. Polished off with a little tipple or two. A truly enjoyable and lovely evening we had, Maggie tucked under the table and moderately well behaved. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The staff at The Gallivant went out of their way to make us happy, they sorted any request we had as soon as possible and we felt like we were in good hands. I have no problem recommending The Gallivant, in no small part because of how well we were treated. Cheers!

We had a lovely one night mid week stay at The Gallivant. We stayed in a luxury dog friendly garden room which was gorgeous. Literally couldn’t fault anything about the room - it was perfect. Breakfast was probably one of the best we’ve ever had. All of the staff were so welcoming and friendly - extra big shout out to Anna who was just lovely. Everyone made our little dog very welcome too. He had a blast. Thank you The Gallivant - we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time. Lyndsay greeted us and made us feel welcome following a disastrous previous stay at a nearby Inn. Lyndsay upgraded our room and let us in early. I loved the room so much I could have cried! This was a much needed break following a stressful number of years. Hannah rescued me when I poured coffee all over the table. She made us feel at home. I loved the room, soft furnishings and the garden. Your gardener must be very special because the flowers were stunning and gave both beauty and privacy. All the staff went over and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Please thank them again for us. Gill and Ron and Barney the dog!
