It was so good being back at the Gallivant again. Love this place, all the staff we met were wonderful. Love being able to give stays with you as gifts too. Thank you all, we will be back ❤️

We had an amazing stay - thank you all so much. All the staff were lovely, but particularly thanks to Anna and her husband Elton who went ‘beyond’ with their care friendly welcome and helpfulness - they are a credit to you. Sorry that I didn’t catch her name - but the lady who appeared to be ‘in charge’ both evenings, was also lovely, very welcoming and knowledgeable. Our room was beautiful, my only observation would be that the ‘mugs’ in the room without handles get too hot to touch if you have a hot drink! Immediately resolved by the team who gave me a proper mug to use - thank you. The food (we had the “full galavant”) was outstanding. Particular highlights were the beetroot hummus and the breakfast bap. I’m not a big fan of English wine, but it was lovely to try them - thank you. Elevenses was modest, but what was served was lovely and refreshing. We were here, after a very difficult year thus far, for total relaxation- and that’s what we got. We spent a lot of time in the garden, just sitting reading etc enjoying the beautiful garden shade and the sea breeze. The staff were (without fault) friendly welcoming and a particularly nice touch that they remembered our names. Thank you all so much David & Gill Tate

Wonderful hotel , and the decor and food was excellent. Everyone was so attentive and lovely and I had an exceptional stay. I just wish it could have been for longer! I will definitely recommend to friends and family and hope to stay again in the future.

We had a great stay. The room, hospitality shown by all staff for us and our dog, sparkling wine tasting, yoga studio, peloton bike, your wine list, the dinner (the list could go on). We are really looking forward to come back in the Autumn! Paul and Neketa The one piece of constructive feedback is that the communication around the weddings hosted on either side of our stay could have been made a bit clearer (we knew we had to check out on the Saturday, but hadn’t realised the hotel wouldn’t be available until 11am on the Friday). Our recent stay for 2 days was just perfect. We loved your hotel, it’s setting, design and staff. Having the beach across the road was perfect. The facilities and service were faultless. A special mention about Anna. Her service and infectious smile (and enthusiasm) were so gratefully received and made us feel really special. We only had breakfast during our stay and we wish we could eat that quality of food wherever we went, it was amazing! So also a mention to your chef(s). Dear Elise I spent a week at The Gallivant with my family 22 July -29 July. I cannot praise your team enough. Unfortunately my mother had to go to A&E during her stay and it happened during Corey's shift. Corey called the ambulance and was amazing throughout the whole incident, both efficient and caring. My Mum thankfully recovered and could come back to the Gallivant the following day. I could mention everyone really but Lindsay, Anna, Paul, Dan immediately spring to mind as being incredibly caring and helpful.
