Everything from the rooms, to the staff, to the service offered was exceptional at The Gallivant. I attended a friends wedding and was very impressed with every aspect of our stay. Staff couldn't have been more accommodating, the food and drinks were fantastic and the rooms are absolutely beautiful. Lots of gorgeous extras. I especially loved the night-time flask of tea - so welcome! I will absolutely be returning for a stay at some point in the future.

We had a fabulous time! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating even with our dog! The decor is lovely and such a great location! Loved our walk on the beach and coming back for some local wine before a delicious dinner!

We had a brilliant weekend. so relaxing, the service and staff were so helpful. we thought breakfast and dinner were excellent, infact the only fault was we didn't stay longer. would highly recommend the Gallivant and look forward to booking another trip.

We had a last min stay with our bloodhound Maggie. The staff were incredible, friendly and helpful and it is clear this is a location not just ticking the dog friendly box but actually embracing and catering for them. But please don’t think that means there is a single compromise on cleanliness or standards. Not one bit. After long stunning walk along the sands we relaxed with a coffee and freshly baked cookies and we actually managed to read a paper.. a first for us in a long time! Tucked up in one of the well appointed side lounges. We booked in for supper. My wife had the monkfish and I had the pork chop both were fantastic. Service was equally fantastic too. Polished off with a little tipple or two. A truly enjoyable and lovely evening we had, Maggie tucked under the table and moderately well behaved. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Made even better by the staff. Keep up the great work team we’ll be back, and so will “Maggie”! Oliver, Victoria & Maggie x
