A wonderful hotel, right by the beach. Very cosy and comfortable with a great lounge, lovely bar, great food, really comfy beds, lovely bathroom and room decor. The staff were all amazing and I was left with a great customer experience. I travelled alone for this trip and felt very safe. There are some lovely little touches. I will definitely be going back...

We loved our stay at the Gallivant the staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was fabulous and Paul made the gin and wine tasting great fun. Some minor things that could have improved stay and might be helpful for future guests: No USB plugs in room. Flush in room 17 tricky Plug in sink allows water to drain. We would have liked small bar of soap in bathroom. Lighting outside on path to room poor.

We had a brilliant time, could not have asked for a nicer stay all staff was helpful. Food was excellent, and we look forward to visiting again. One of many people that stood out was India who took us on a meditative walk on the beach.

It was so wonderfully relaxing staying at the Gallivant! Special mention to Lindsay for being so friendly and kind- and for sorting us out with an upgrade, which was a fantastic start to the holiday. We really appreciated all the special little touches (like the night time tea), the quality of the facilities and the surroundings and the food. My husband is vegetarian and it was great that the options available for him for dinner were both tasty and varied (and that staff remembered!). A really great find and we're recommending it to everyone.

Really lovely hotel, loved the bedroom decor, comfy bed and friendly staff. Dinner and breakfast were tasty. The bedroom pictures on the website don’t really match the real thing so that was a bit confusing. Really enjoyed the cake and sleepy tea. We didn’t book the all inclusive so didn’t think we got the activities for free but then all the paperwork in the room said they were free for overnight guests so that was also a bit confusing . We didn’t have much time spare for these unfortunately otherwise would have asked a member of staff. Overall very good 👍

Great staff and place. Really accommodating with pesky changes that we had to make to the booking. Food was ace and walking along the beach was an antidote for the January blues
