We had the most amazing few days at the Gallivant. There are probably not enough superlatives to describe everything. The beautiful garden bedrooms, delicious food, trendy and comfortable lounge and bar. The lovely extra touches such as all day elevenses, wine at 5, tea at night - just made the whole experience so special. All the staff were professional, attentive and friendly- but special mention must go to Lyndsey who bent over backwards to ensure our stay over my birthday was very memorable. We also had a very informative session with Mark showing us how to make the perfect chocolate mousse. We are already planning our next trip back, and will bring our dog - she will just love it. Hi Elise I enjoyed my stay very much. Electric car charging outside, warm cosy hospitality inside and exceptional food and drinks - and great decor too. The staff were first class both at dinner and this morning. My cabin offered everything I needed. Congrats

My daughter and I had a fabulous time. We loved the beachy chic vibe and all the thoughtful touches such night time tea, beach towels, wellies, elevenses. The food was amazing - we love a small, thoughtful, local menu. Two staff who stood out for us were Daisy in the spa and India in the yoga studio, however everyone we encountered was unfailingly polite and friendly. It was a glorious mother-daughter weekend, made especially wonderful by our stylish surroundings and great food.

I was so well taken care of at The Gallivant - from providing me with a toothbrush to driving me to the train station to catch my train. It was so easy to relax there and I loved the little treats of elevenses and the 5pm wine. Thank you so much! I can't wait to come back :)

This was out third visit to the Gallivant . We were lucky to have the most beautiful January weather . As always the service , food & wines were excellent. We thought the additional pricing for the shared dinner dishes were expensive but we avoided these! It was good to see a change to the meat choice day on day , a similar change to the fish would have been welcome but the John Dory was absolutely delicious. This time we were celebrating my wife’s Birthday and the various recognitions of this were much appreciated. Anna remains a wonderful breakfast host & Elton looked after us very well but all the staff were friendly, helpful & welcoming. The room (19) was immaculate. Michael

Thank you for another amazing stay. The whole team made us feel so welcome - Anna is so cheering at breakfast time, and all the evening team are charming. The food was absolutely incredible. We did have an issue on the second night of our stay in that the lock on our door broke but Krystle (Chrystal?) was fantastic and she sorted everything with the minimum of fuss. Please thank her from me and please know that she is such an asset to your team - helpful, friendly and calm. What an incredible hotel. Thank you so much everyone.
