We received a warm welcome as always. Grateful for the upgrade to a garden room, which we'll probably book next time we visit in the summer. Great help from reception who organised a taxi to take us to Hythe and back. We were running late in the morning and appreciated the relaxed flexibility over the fabulous breakfast. What we really noticed was the unhurried sense of calm and friendliness from the staff on duty. We've been several times before and we'll definitely be back again.

An exceptional place. Thank you to all at The Gallivant for making us so welcome on a cold January day. The food and wines were excellent. We were so pleased to have a bath in our room - perfect after a long walk. Our waiter who I think was Louisa was very attentive. Many thanks to all. We will be back!

Thank you so much for such a lovely stay at The Gallivant. It really set me up for the year and allowed me time and space to rest and relax, in a beautiful hotel and location. All the staff were truly excellent. I travel a lot with work, and stay in hotels all over the world and can honestly say I found this to be one of the best. It was a home from home, with such friendly staff (EVERYONE from Monty at the front desk to Anna serving my morning breakfast), who were very happy to help at any moment whilst striking the balance of leaving me to it. I have been telling all friends and colleagues about you, and I can't wait to come back. Thank you again

A wonderful hotel, right by the beach. Very cosy and comfortable with a great lounge, lovely bar, great food, really comfy beds, lovely bathroom and room decor. The staff were all amazing and I was left with a great customer experience. I travelled alone for this trip and felt very safe. There are some lovely little touches. I will definitely be going back...

We loved our stay at the Gallivant the staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was fabulous and Paul made the gin and wine tasting great fun. Some minor things that could have improved stay and might be helpful for future guests: No USB plugs in room. Flush in room 17 tricky Plug in sink allows water to drain. We would have liked small bar of soap in bathroom. Lighting outside on path to room poor.
