Really fabulous stay. After having Covid over Christmas, this really was the trip we needed! Your staff were so friendly and willing to help. Beautiful interiors. Loved all the thoughtful touches like wine at 5 and elevensies. I used to work for Small Luxury Hotels of the World and have stayed in some incredible hotels around the world, The Gallivant is now up there at the top. Just one tiny thing - toilet brushes in the rooms would be good! Thank you for upgrading our room, much appreciated.

We absolutely loved our stay! It was magical. I would suggest that we would have liked proper cups in our room as the beakers got very hot when we had our tea. I was very impressed by the housekeeping team who always seemed to know when we were out of the room to tidy up. I would also suggest one bottle of bubble bath or bath salts to enjoy in the tub.

We have had a fab stay over New Year. Everything was perfect. The food was absolutely incredible and delicious, the staff are amazing. The whole stay was relaxing and we felt that nothing was too much trouble when we asked. Thank you so much and thank you for the lovely sparkling wine you gave us when we left. We will definitely be back.

Great service Great food Great deco Great cosy atmosphere Great interactions with Ludo ,Paul B and Jonathan. Ludo trained in the hospitality service in Alsace , where I come from ! We also enjoyed interacting with Paul B about English wines and the pairing with food ,Being French, I love working out the dovetailing of food and wine and your team is doing exactly that . We love your concept about kooking after your workforce well. They are your strength and are a representation of the ethos of Gallivant. We have a business too in structural engineering and we believe in investing passionately in people . It is our third visit : we came for New Year 2017, Easter 2018 and we are not disappointed as returned guests . Monty’s smile is most welcoming.
