We had an amazing stay at the Gallivant. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The location is just perfect being right across from the beach which is spectacular. I took my dog who was welcomed with open arms and loved all the beautiful scents in the enclosed garden. Would definitely recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. All staff were very pleasant and helpful, in particular Lyndsay who gave us a lift to the train station after our taxi got a puncture!

Having discovered beautiful Rye some 8 years ago, we have made several holiday visits there, but have always stayed in the town, until we discovered the hidden charms of the Gallivant at the beginning of September this year. As it was at the end of our last visit, we only had the pleasure of enjoying 3 meals and 1 overnight stay with you, which was simply not enough to enjoy the special attention and many delights of the hotel. We were most impressed by the quality of staff and attention to detail but would like to give a special thanks to Lindsay and Paul B who not only made us feel so welcome, but impressed us by their professionalism and customer skills. Nothing was too much trouble and they were both able to make us feel so relaxed from the moment we met them, adding to the enjoyment of our stay. The addition of the electric charging points in the car park were a big plus for us, enabling us to recharge our car overnight for the journey home the following day. From start to finish, the whole team made us feel extremely welcome and very special throughout our stay. From Lindsay’s charm to Crystal’s attentiveness, we were extremely impressed and will definitely be visiting again. All of your team were so friendly and attentive throughout our stay but Elise, Dan and the lady who showed us to our room & gave us a dog bed initially were particularly friendly so thank you all.

We had a lovely time at the Gallivant. All the staff were young, enthusiastic and very helpful. We were also very impressed by the restaurant service, which was very efficient. We will come back....
