We loved your hotel, you really have created a unique experience & it’s lovely that you welcome dogs too. All your staff were efficient, kind & friendly & we loved the little touches like elevenses & wine at 5. Our only slight moan was that the evening meal was a little disappointing. We ordered greens to accompany the meal & were presented with a bowl of something green & brown. The waitress told me it was broccoli but they turned out to over fried sprouts which weren’t very pleasant. Not at all what I expected Overall a very enjoyable visit though, thank you.

We had a lovely stay at the Gallivant, everyone was very welcoming and made us feel very settled. Special mention for Anna this morning - coffee brought to the room and an excellent breakfast. Many thanks.

Really enjoyed our stay, especially as you got us out of trouble at the last minute after we had been let down elsewhere. Great service from everyone, but a special mention for Monty and Lucy. We will be back!

Hi Elise Thanks for a great stay this week. We loved the hotel and will surely come back again soon. The team were accommodating to allow us an extra hour in our room on Friday - to allow for Storm Eunice. One minor thing - most of the staff wore their masks around their necks. It's no longer mandatory for people to wear masks and it just draws attention to the fact that they're not wearing them properly. I suggest your team wear them properly or not at all Toby Nicol

Thank you so much for a WONDERFUL honeymoon. We stayed for 5 nights and had a blissful time. It was so realising, loved the art work, great helpful and friendly staff. Really informative and fun wine tasting with Paul. Paul have great advice about visiting Gusbourne which we did and enjoyed immensely. We enjoyed the small touches like access to wellies, wine at 5 and the bedtime tea. The snug area in the reception is really cosy and great book selection. The food delicious the only tiny thing may be to add a breakfast dish to the menu that changes daily like dinner. all the staff were super attentive and kind.

We had a great first stay at the Gallivant. From the moment we arrived all staff, from the housekeeping team to front of house to bar staff, were very welcoming. The vibe was attentive but relaxed. The room was compact but clean and stylish. We loved the communal spaces and enjoyed the English wine tasting. Special mentions to Becky, for fitting us into the wine tasting after the knife skills was cancelled; Daisy, for a fantastic massage; Dan, for just being a smiling presence; Corey, for great service at dinner, Paul for drinks advice and finding an alternative cheese; Monty, for a warm welcome and helpful check out, and Naketa for her warm presence at breakfast.
