Having booked our room last minute, we were unsure what to expect. From the moment we set foot in the door we absolutely loved the ambiance. The staff, decor and food were excellent. Our golden retriever was welcomed and well catered for. If we are visiting the area again we will definitely stay over. Perfect location for beach walks with our dog and for visiting Rye. 24 hours was all we needed to feel relaxed and refreshed. The service was impeccable and the welcome very warm. Our room was comfortable, stylish and the bed was very comfortable. Being so close to the beach was a real treat. The Gallivant is the perfect get away.

We had such a wonderful night away for our wedding anniversary. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful and treated us like friends. It felt very relaxed but very professional. Our drinks in the dunes were delicious, breakfast and dinner superb and had wonderful relaxing treatments too. Our room was so lovely and we were very grateful for our upgrade. Really lovely and soothing environment. The staff was extremely warm and helpful. I found the seating area to be stunning I’ve never seen anything so detailed it was really artwork! And so many interesting magazines and books. I loved my stay.
