We had a brilliant weekend. so relaxing, the service and staff were so helpful. we thought breakfast and dinner were excellent, infact the only fault was we didn't stay longer. would highly recommend the Gallivant and look forward to booking another trip.

The attention to detail in all aspects of your hotel, the courteous and friendly service from all the team we had contact with was first class. We had a last min stay with our bloodhound Maggie. The staff were incredible, friendly and helpful and it is clear this is a location not just ticking the dog friendly box but actually embracing and catering for them. But please don’t think that means there is a single compromise on cleanliness or standards. Not one bit. After long stunning walk along the sands we relaxed with a coffee and freshly baked cookies and we actually managed to read a paper.. a first for us in a long time! Tucked up in one of the well appointed side lounges. We booked in for supper. My wife had the monkfish and I had the pork chop both were fantastic. Service was equally fantastic too. Polished off with a little tipple or two. A truly enjoyable and lovely evening we had, Maggie tucked under the table and moderately well behaved. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Made even better by the staff. Keep up the great work team we’ll be back, and so will “Maggie”! Oliver, Victoria & Maggie x

Excellent stay and surpassed all our expectations!!

The staff at The Gallivant went out of their way to make us happy, they sorted any request we had as soon as possible and we felt like we were in good hands. I have no problem recommending The Gallivant, in no small part because of how well we were treated. Cheers!

We had a lovely one night mid week stay at The Gallivant. We stayed in a luxury dog friendly garden room which was gorgeous. Literally couldn’t fault anything about the room - it was perfect. Breakfast was probably one of the best we’ve ever had. All of the staff were so welcoming and friendly - extra big shout out to Anna who was just lovely. Everyone made our little dog very welcome too. He had a blast. Thank you The Gallivant - we will definitely be back!
