Hi Elise We loved our stay! Thank you. Your hotel is very peaceful and happy place. The staff made it such a wonderful and relaxing stay. Anna, Elton and Lindsay are all very special and gifted. Their warmth and honesty came through. We also appreciated all the effort Monty went to for us. John on the bar was friendly and open. The one thing that could be improved is maybe better sound proof doors as you can hear everything (room 3) including a crying baby over night close by. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We enjoyed both our dinners & the breakfast is, indeed, quite special and unique- which is quite hard these days. The beans coffee was top. We have just returned from the most amazing long weekend away at the Gallivant - and are already discussing when we can go back! After a really tough year we needed to get away, really switch off and spoil ourselves for our anniversary - the Gallivant was the perfect place to do this. Our room and the entire place was decorated beautifully, so trendy but tasteful. Attention to detail is evident at every turn, from the sleepy tea night time delivery to the arrival note wishing us a happy anniversary, and the environmentally-friendly water bottles. The bed and bath was luxurious. The food - from breakfasts, home-roasted salted almonds at the bar, to incredible dinners and a specially curated selection of wines and cocktails - was nothing short of exceptional. We loved our yoga class with India and wish we could have stayed longer to do more of the experiences. We both had massages at the spa with the brilliant Daisy, the tipping point into ultimate relaxation. ALL the staff were brilliant - attentive and knowledgable but relaxed and we loved this as often at hotels the staff can be stuck up and a bit too formal and stuffy. Naketa and Monty took really good care of us and made us feel so welcome. Looking to make this a yearly (or even bi-annual) visit.

My wife, I & Fin (our Jack Russell) had a wonderful short stay earlier this week. Everyone was so helpful and friendly, with nothing too much trouble. The atmosphere & ambience is just so welcoming and comfortable. The food was gorgeous also, we'll definitely visit again. Mark Barrington.

We really enjoyed our stay thank you. The things that stood out were our dining experiences and the friendliness and quality of all of your staff. Of particular note: We had the sharing porterhouse steak on Tuesday and turbot on Wednesday. Both were cooked absolutely perfectly and tasted wonderful. A particular shout out to Daniel (sous chef) who brought our fish out to us on Wednesday and described how it had been prepared. Our waiter on both nights was also fabulous (I don't know his name....he said he'd been working at the Gallivant for 7 days....but you wouldn't have known....he was very efficient and seemed very knowledgeable about the menu etc.). We also really enjoyed chatting to Ludo who served us our wine on Tuesday and allowed us to taste a few other local wines, e.g. Oxney. My husband is a huge wine enthusiast (WSET Level 3 :)) and it was great to have someone so knowledgeable to offer some thoughts to us. Anna is so friendly and enthusiastic about the breakfasts - what a great morning person! All together a very positive experience.
