We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the stylish Gallivant. The atmosphere is calming with friendly staff who all went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and special. Great consideration has been given to the beautiful interiors with just the perfect levels of lighting and music. Artwork by local artists and historical swimsuits adorn the tastefully decorated rooms and beautiful natural gardens flow into relaxing seating areas. Breakfast was served perfectly on the patio by Georgina. With Camber sands across the road, historical Rye nearby and a visit to Tellinger winery for lunch the Gallivant is perfect for a few nights away.

Just by chance I found this little gem as I browsed the internet in desperate need of a break. Thank goodness I did. I cannot fault the hotel or staff. The rooms were clean, food excellent, standards high, atmosphere relaxing. The hotel goes the extra mile from beach blankets, to refreshments packed and ready to take to the dunes a stone throw away, wellies to borrow, yoga on the beach, star gazing from the personal outside space accompanying your room, to spa moments! and wine list to keep you going for weeks !!! An absolute must for those needing a complete escape. I will be returning for another totally blissful me time holiday. Thank you to all staff for making my stay one to never forget.

A beautiful boutique hotel with a real charm, quirky interior and stunning gardens. The staff are supper friendly and everything is on hand from deck chairs to wellies, to dog biscuits, towels, water bottles and beach bags. The attention to detail is amazing. The food was delicious and the bed was super comfy. We will be recommending to all our friends. Thank you for a great stay!

Hi Team Gallivant. I arrived as a solo traveller for work. I received a delightful welcome. I was looked after magnificently with delicious food and wine while enjoying your lovely garden. The room was very comfortable and I liked you booklets with local info. I also had a lovely sunny walk along the beach.
