Our first visit and stay at the Gallivant Hotel and we were very pleased with the fantastic service of all the staff, who looked after us very well. We were not disappointed, our room was very comfortable, perfectly prepared and presented. We also enjoyed our evening Dinner and Breakfast the following day, both were excellently prepared, presented and served. Our stay this time was only for one night, but we will return to the Gallivant for a longer stay. Thank you for our time at the hotel, which was thoroughly enjoyed.

I came for a birthday lunch with friends. Fantastic food, lovely wine and a great ambience. The service from the staff was very good.

What a special place to spend our anniversary weekend. We have left after 2 days feeling totally relaxed and rejuvenated. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcomed and at home by Lindsay. Such lovely gestures to acknowledge our anniversary and make us feel so special. The customer service is genuine, sincere and from the heart. Thank you Lindsay! Thank you also to all the other members of the team who made our stay so memorable and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed; to Tiff, Oscar and Marian in the restaurant, Naketa and Muli at the front of house,Jonathan in the bar for superb cocktails and Jasmine too. We really enjoyed the food. The seam bream was excellent and the tarte tatin flambeed at our table was really special. From our comfortable bed to the roll top bath and homely touches in our room we literally didn’t want to check-out. Everything had been carefully selected to create a quality, relaxed and comfortable environment. It was very much like the Danish philosophy of Hygge - ‘cosy happiness’. Add to that the wonderful beach at Camber Sands and the proximity to Rye; all in all a fabulous location. One idea for improvement would be a small fork for the 4pm cake. I really couldn’t think of anything else. We will definitely return. Thank you for a memorable stay. Jane and Chris

Had such a lovely stay. Lydsay went above and beyond to make our stay really lovely. We loved breakfast and the yoga in the morning.
