A magical place on the south coast , it was great to be back. The team looked after us so well!

We had the most wonderful time. The gallivant really exceeded all expectations. The finishing touches of the happy hours (oysters included!), incredible menu for breakfast, upgrade were amazing! It was so cosy and the interiors were to die for!!

Always a pleasure to see Nakeeta, Jonathan and Lindsay and Oscar who make me feel like I am at home the current menu is top notch food great service as always

We had a fabulous two night stay at The Gallivant. It was faultless. Cozy, welcoming, friendly and helpful staff, amazing food and comfortable rooms. We loved the relaxing atmosphere and felt 'at home' as soon as we arrived. There were several unique formats, i.e. the breakfast, wine at five, wellies, beach bags and towels being easily available. Loved it ....people friendly ....dog friendly ....yoga friendly......life friendly....wonderful.place to stay and feel cared for Thank you John and Lolly So no real ways we think you can improve it......can't remember staff names except for Neketa who was brilliant......

We visited the Gallivant as a treat for a special birthday and from the start to the end of our stay, we felt incredibly looked after. We were welcomed warmly with tea and cake, personally shown around the beautiful lounge area and then taken to our cosy and gorgeously decorated room. Every detail had been thought through. The cocktails were delicious, dinner was spectacular and it’s the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had! The shower was wonderful and we slept like logs. An amazing location so close to the beach too. We left feeling both utterly relaxed and very sorry to have only stayed one night. Would (and will) recommend in a heartbeat
