Gosh, where to start? For 24 wonderful hours we have just escaped from ‘the real word’ and have been cosseted by a fabulous team of people in surroundings that made me feel even more at home than our home!! You’ve created a superb environment; meticulous design with great attention to detail…..almost ‘womb like’! Nico and the kitchen team have produced for us some exceptionally enjoyable meals which really promote the seasonality and local availability of produce. Last nights dinner was possibly THE best and perfectly cooked steak I’ve eaten with a fresh salsa sauce - what a winning combo!! Of course, it is all about the team who created the atmosphere and environment. From the minute we walked through the door (sounds like a song?) Lindsay, Nikita, George, Tim and Hamish could not do enough for us and of course Ralph our dog. Wonderful people who work together to produce a wonderful experience. To the rest of the hotel team (servers, housekeeping, kitchen and grounds) you are also unsung heroes as everywhere was just a joy to behold. I felt quite sad leaving you this morning! We both commented that we felt as though we’d been away a lot longer than just a short 24 hours. We will look forward to our return, as will Ralph! Our only comment that we felt we could suggest for improvement is the provision of USB sockets in the bedroom for phone charging. Although we did bring a plug with us, it would be good to have sockets by the bed for charging. Otherwise, just brilliant! Thank you to everyone - you’re all complete STARS!

We had a fabulous stay at the weekend with you. It was our 2nd visit. As always, all the staff are fantastic however this visit Lindsey was the one that truly stood out for us. Thank you for this retreat beside the sea and we will be back for a 3rd visit 🙏🏼

We had the most fabulous stay at the Gallivant in a Garden Room. The food was exquisitely faultless, drinks spectacular and the staff were perfect - attentive and informed. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough and we can’t wait to visit again!

Just what I needed. Walks on the beach, sea air, excellent food, yoga and a massage. The staff are wonderful, I couldn't fault the customer service and the little touches make you feel like a VIP. I feel well rested, recharged and and ready to face the real world again!

We had the best stay at The Gallivant. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, especially Elise, it feels like a home away from home and we wished we could have stayed longer. Dinner at The Gallivant was also incredible - I'm still thinking about the leek starter and the sharing steak - wow! We can't wait to visit again soon, it's a real hidden gem.
