My son and I had a wonderful stay with you last night. Thank you so much for upgrading us into a larger room. That was a lovely surprise and made a huge difference. I felt so spoilt and the team couldn’t do enough for us. The attention to detail was delightful. A special thank you to Crystal and Lindsey along with all the brilliant staff who help to contribute to making guests’ stay such a special treat.

We had a wonderful stay with you. Everyone wants you to relax and enjoy your time at the Gallivant. Corey was exceptional and couldn't have been more devoted to customer satisfaction. We all agreed that we will be come back ...if you'll have us!

We loved our stay. The room was delightful and well equipped; the service was excellent, especially waitress Lucy at dinner who was very informative and witty and the quick hop across the road to the beach made things just perfect. The food both at breakfast and dinner was beautifully prepared and delicious. 2 very minor niggles were that we couldn’t get the radio to work and the cups for hot drinks without handles were tricky to hold when hot!! Otherwise everything was terrific and we are already looking forward to our next visit!!

Positives: Beautiful decor, perfectly suited to a relaxing stay. Everything very well kept, no signs of tiredness. The proprietors clearly have an obsessive attention to detail. Outstanding food, in taste and presentation. Excellent selection of quality drinks. Elevenses Table makes the hotel feel like home - nice touch. Quality fixtures and fittings and consumables (soap, etc.). Virtually no negatives: Could do with another staff member in the sitting and dining rooms for more attentive/personal service. No-one here when we arrived, to provide a welcome and intro to the hotel, which didn’t start the stay off well… Overall, exceeded our expectations by a long way.

I had a really lovely stay at The Gallivant, it was just what I needed and an ideal place to recharge my batteries and have some time for myself. The staff are all very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The yoga classes were really enjoyable. Wine O’clock is a really great idea. There’s lots of little touches that make the difference to this little gem and my room was really cosy. I would be very happy to return and recommend to others…it was in fact a recommendation that led me to stay here. Only thing I would say which is very minor, was that stayed for 3 nights and it would have been nice to have a little more variety on the menu albeit I do understand most people probably tend to stay for a shorter length of time. Many thanks, all the best.

Beautiful rooms , lovely service and great food . Lindsay and Chrystal were very welcoming and handled my cancelled spa booking very well offering me a Sunday option. Unfortunately I had an allergic reaction so I was quite poorly on Saturday, Lindsay was very kind and helpful and by the time I emerged on Saturday night for a plate of chips and a coke , the restaurant staff could not have been more charming . The whole design of the hotel and rooms are so clever , like a mini soho house but cosier, so clever . Amazing cocktails !
