Excellent stay. The hotel is just perfect and ticks all the boxes. Great location, great vibe and very helpful staff. A very pleasurable stay.

We are so grateful to everyone at the Gallivant for lifting our spirits after a very difficult few weeks. We had to move the booking for personal reasons and really appreciated Agnes and team’s understanding, kindness and flexibility with this. We had the most brilliant stay - from Lindsay’s very warm welcome, to the excellent yoga instructors, the best treatment I’ve ever had from Eva and the fantastic wine tasting with Jon (and Paul’s expertise too - we are sad he’s going but know the English wine is in good hands with Jon!). The Gallivant has been a very special place to us for a while now and this visit proved again why that’s the case. I can’t wait to come back next month with my mum to celebrate our birthdays (and looking forward to many more visits in future too). Thank you all so much x

My time was at The Gallivant was wonderful. Stand out was the great service. Everyone made me feel welcome and at ease. When there were no taxis to take me back to the station the operations manager immediately offered to drive me there himself, which I am extremely grateful for and shows the lengths taken to care for me especiallyas I was alone on this trip. I will never forget this kindness. Thefood was lovely and my coffee was made to perfection. Unfortunately I am terrible with names but the gentlemen behind the bar were especially great with my coffee order. I will definitely be back soon. Thank-you for a perfectly serene break.
