My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Gallivant. Everything has been well thought out and the coastal chic vibe is impressive. Our luxury garden room was lovely, the guest cake & wine nice touches and the dinner & breakfast great. I would say it might be nice to have more variety on the dessert menu - a chocolate option is always nice! Other than that, a very relaxing break, friendly staff and very welcoming of our dog. Hopefully we can return in the future. The proximity to the Camber Sands beaches is so appealing.

We had a wonderful stay, loved the decor of the rooms and the service was great. Friendly staff, good food and perfect weekend break with my sisters. We enjoyed the yoga too. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully come back to experience it all in the summer!

It’s always a perfect stay - because of the staff and welcome and the consistent high quality food. I have been coming for 10 years and I try not to tell anyone about it as it’s my secret getaway!. Sometimes a last minute one night we or a weekend, sometimes on my own, it always delivers a calibre of service you would only rarely receive in a high end international hotel: thanks guys for looking after me !

Thank you all very much for our lovely stay at The Gallivant. We really appreciated the upgrade to one of your garden rooms - it was great to have books to browse and the super bath, plenty of hot water and bath salts all added to our relaxing stay. Dinners in The Cabin were delicious and the ambience was warm and cosy. We really appreciated the fantastic English wine tasting organised at short notice by Jonathan and indeed some of the wines were a revelation! We will certainly recommend to friends. Sue

Absolutely lovely stay. So welcoming. And superb food.

The staff make this hotel very friendly and accommodating , food was excellent , breakfast great choice and love all the extra touches like the wine o’clock and the bedtime hot herbal tea and pillow spray and candle etc was a lovely room very clean and couldn’t fault it just in 2nd night at turndown they didn’t change our towels but that didn’t spoil anything loved ut
