Even though our stay was for only 1 night, we really feel as if we have had a proper break. The ambience of the Gallivant- from the entrance, to the bar/ sitting area to our room is so inviting and tranquil. The staff are warm and kind and have that wonderful unhurried but very attentive approach that feels personal. It was our golden retriever’s first hotel stay and we are certain that her calmness was a reflection of that special Gallivant serenity. Your front of house staff- Paige and Crystal- are a credit to you. thank you .

Staying at the Gallivant for the first time was a wonderful break. From the outside very unassuming but inside it is decorated beautifully, the staff are friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. Right opposite an incredible beach it really was a lovely 24 hours.

Dear Elise Thank you so much for a wonderful stay . Charlie dog and I had a gorgeous time. All of the staff were exceptional. Welcoming friendly and kind. Very professional. Charlie felt very welcome. The meals I had were delicious. The. Gallivant is rather like a tardis. Looks unassuming on first arrival but once you enter its warm and welcoming with lots of space to relax. The bedroom was lovely clean and comfortable. I have already recommended you to several friends and myself and Charlie will definitely be back. Thankyou and the team very much xx

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All staff very helpful. We liked the yoga each morning and the sampling of local wines at the end of each day. We will recommend to friends.

A return visit, and as good as last time. A warm welcome, cosy room, wonderful areas to hunker down in, super friendly team. Paige and Nikita were bubbly and helpful, Paul made great cocktails (again), Felix was informative and enthusiastic about the daily changing menu and Hamish was charming and took time to answer questions over a busy weekend. The housekeeping always smiling. Fantastic location, loved the Peloton, brilliant menu and I look forward to returning again soon! Thank you again
